This volume really takes readers on an emotional roller coaster. It gets over the shock from the end of the last volume rather quickly, sweetens up really nice, then becomes an explosive sour bomb in your face. The pacing also threw me for a loop, but it’s not really bad.

So Alicia ends up getting sick after that, fluff happens to the fifth degree, they make it back to everyone else, surprise buttsecks ambush, Isara makes nice with Rosie, Isara gets shot, the end.

I just realized that I had this draft sitting here since last November, and looking at it now, I don’t really feel like finishing it. So, the above description is what I remember happening in the end. Yeah…

Oh, and volume four recently became available. I checked it out. It was cute (and the end). Maybe I’ll get to a proper post for that later. Anyway, just enjoy this incomplete formatted post. It’s the best you’ll get out of me right now.

In chapter 46, university entrance exams are getting closer, and Ritsu and Yui are full of epic fail (as usual.)

Eventually, Ritsu asks Mio to help HER study, so Tsumugi and Azusa are the only people going to the music room that afternoon.

I can’t be the only one who took Mugi’s “Get ready!” the wrong way, can I? I mean, considering it’s Mugi…

So Nodoka comes over to Yui’s house to help her study, which eventually leads to some pretty humorous developments.

Meanwhile, Mio refuses to help Ritsu study, but Ritsu has her ways…

Of course, Mio could always just kick her out, so Ritsu turns to flattery.

Ritsu then brings up a valid point…

So all in all, another great chapter. There were a lot of lulzy moments, as usual, but what I enjoyed most was the subtext. Kakifly keeps dropping hints left and right that point to RitsuxMio, and since I ship them like burning… Well, you can imagine that it makes me ridiculously giddy. ;D

On a related note, the second season of the anime premiers on April 6th, so that’s something else to look forward to. I hope they cover the chapter with the Romeo and Juliet play. Epic lulz right there. XD

To commemorate this event, I got off my lazy butt and made a new banner featuring Lymle Lemuri Phi and Faize Sheifa Beleth from Star Ocean: The Last Hope and changed the blog layout. I really was hell-bent on making Lymle the new banner girl.

I’ll probably have a fall season-related post up eventually. It just depends on how willing I am to actually blog about any of this season’s shows, you know? Aki and Xan are different stories. They’re free to do whatever they please. =w=;;

F**K YEAH!!!

An anime based on Black Rock Shooter was announced a while ago, and I would have made a post earlier, but there wasn’t actually much material to post about. UNTIL NOW.

Can you see why I’m excited about this? But it doesn’t air until Spring of 2010! Oh, well. My birthday is in April. I guess I’ll just have to look forward to this as a nice birthday present. XD

Anyway, even though I’m totally psyched for this anime, I can tell it’s going to make me bawl my eyes out. I mean, did you not see her face when she was looking at that empty seat in her class?? ;-; There’s no way it can have a happy ending. Maybe bittersweet, but if my reaction to the trailer is any indication (I teared up), I think it’s a pretty safe bet that I’m going to end up using an entire box of tissues by the last episode. XD
